An Extension of Our Family

Stokes Family Office is 100% Family Owned, and has been continually operating in the New Orleans Area for over 35 years. In our experience, the financial services industry largely doesn’t work on behalf of its clients - selling product versus providing counsel to its clients, doing what’s in the bank’s best interest, rather than the clients'. As a multi-generational family business, we endeavor to create relationships with other families that measure in the decades. This can only be accomplished by putting clients’ interest first, as a fiduciary.

The national average age of a financial advisor is 55. The average age of our advisors is under 40.

David C. Stokes, CFP®
Principal

For more than three decades, David and his team have been providing disciplined financial and investment advice to individuals, families and institutions and built a billion dollar investment advisory firm.

He earned his Bachelors degree in Business from the Tulane University A.B. Freeman School of Business and his MBA from Loyola University of the South.

David lives in New Orleans with his wife Nancy and also has a home in Whitefish, Montana. They are proud grandparents to their growing family.

David enjoys Golf and Mountain biking. He is a proud inductee in both the Tulane University and Archbishop Rummel athletic hall of fame.

Gregory J. Stokes, CFP®, JD
Principal

Ever since Greg was a child, he always wanted to work alongside his dad in the family business, helping clients on their path to financial confidence.

As a partner of the firm, his childhood aspirations have become a reality, and, as an added bonus, he gets to collaborate with his brother/friend Doug on a daily basis.


Greg graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law with honors. While attending USD Law, Greg worked on a full-time basis for two publicly-traded technology companies. He is a licensed Attorney. * Greg also graduated from TCU’s MJ Neeley School of Business with a BBA in Finance.

Greg has three children under the age of 9, so he spends much of his time outside of work with his children, and his wife and college sweetheart Samantha, who he adores. He is an avid Saints and TCU football fan. He loves traveling (especially to California) and everything New Orleans has to offer.

Douglas M. Stokes, CFA®
Principal

Since he began his profession, Doug has focused much of his energy on the art and science of portfolio construction, which he defines as "the process of optimizing the road to financial confidence."

Doug has the pleasure to work in a family atmosphere alongside his dad and brother to further Stokes Family Office's mission to help its clients achieve their financial goals by design, not default.

Doug has a Bachelor's degree from TCU's MJ Neeley School of Business and MBA from Tulane's A.B. Freeman School of Business. He is a CFA Charterholder and member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Louisiana.

Doug and his wife Sarah live in New Orleans and have a growing family. Doug is lucky to have a wonderful family who provides him daily inspiration at home and in the office.

Victoria Todino
Director of Corporate Operations

In her capacity as Director of Corporate Operations, Victoria provides high level support to the team in the administration of client accounts, communication and scheduling, account maintenance, transaction processing, direction and coordination of the essential office operations. She prides herself on providing exceptional service to our clients.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario, Canada. She is also a completed her Certification as a Legal Assistant.
You can usually find Victoria spending time with her husband, visiting her family in Canada, traveling, gardening, volunteering and exploring her community.

Rachael Richard, CFP®
Financial Analyst

In her role as Financial Analyst, Rachael is responsible for organizing the underlying data used in portfolio analysis, portfolio management, cash flow planning, and report preparation. Additionally, Rachael is responsible for daily trade execution.

Rachael graduated from Mount Carmel Academy and earned her Bachelor of Science from Tulane University.

Outside of the office, Rachael enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, and enjoying the culture and environment of the New Orleans area.

Patrick McKay, CFP®
Director of Institutional Services

Patrick brings to our team 9 years of experience in the financial services industry. Previous to joining Stokes Family Office, Patrick worked for a New York-based institutional money manager and helped grow their firm substantially over his 9 years there.

In addition to portfolio management, Patrick has extensive experience working with employer retirement plans and helped build his previous firms’ retirement plan offerings.

Before his time in New York, Patrick obtained his Bachelors in Science from LSU’s E.J. Ourso College of Business.

Born and raised in New Orleans, Patrick enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and daughter.

Devin Brieske
Client Operations Manager

In her role as Client Operations Manager, Devin works directly with clients to implement tailored, evidence-based, tax-efficient financial advice. She studied financial planning at Western Kentucky University and is working toward the experience requirement of the CFP designation.

New to New Orleans, Devin is enjoying exploring the city and gaining new experiences. Originally from Lexington, KY, she enjoys traveling with family and friends and spending time outdoors.

Charlie Tiblier, CAMS, CFE, CFP®
Chief Compliance Officer

In his role as Chief Compliance Officer, Charlie ensures the firm adheres to all relevant securities regulations. He brings to our team 8 years of financial services experience. Prior to his role at Stokes Family Office, Charlie worked for 3 years in compliance and operations at a regional bank broker dealer / registered investment advisor and for nearly 5 years as a securities regulator.

Charlie graduated from Jesuit High School and earned his Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

Outside of the office, Charlie enjoys traveling, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife, Jessica, and their son.

Aimee Charrier
Client Operations Manager

In her role as Client Operations Manager, Aimee assists the team with client onboarding and servicing. She has over 18 years of experience in the financial industry working as an Operations Specialist and as an Investment Sales Assistant. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Management from the University of New Orleans. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and exercising.
